The core of Jobiteer is seeing a job before deciding whether to unlock it, and the app is designed around that flow directly, not adapted from a desktop-first design after the fact. Messaging, scheduling, and notifications are all built with a contractor working on the go in mind, not bolted on as an afterthought.
Real native integration, not a generic wrapper
Payments on Android go through Google's own required billing system, done properly to stay compliant with app store policy rather than reusing a web payment flow. Small details, like Android's own "use saved password" prompt working correctly on login, only show up when an app is actually built natively instead of wrapped.
iOS is deliberately sequenced, not neglected
Right now, Jobiteer's app is Android only. There's no iOS app yet, and that's a deliberate choice, not an oversight. Rather than rushing out a half-working iOS version, the plan is to get the Android foundation solid first and give iOS its own proper native build when the time comes, not a shortcut or a reused wrapper.
Built and verified on real hardware
Features get tested on an actual physical device before they're considered done, not just assumed to work from a simulator. Several real bugs, things like a scheduling block not responding correctly to touch, have been tracked down to their actual root cause and fixed through that process.
