Scheduling a job usually means leaving the conversation you're actually having. You agree on a time in a text or a chat, then go open a separate calendar app to actually make it official, and hope nothing gets lost in the handoff between the two.
On the Jobiteer mobile app, that handoff doesn't exist. Mention a date or time in your conversation with a homeowner, and it gets recognized and turned into a schedule block you can tap to confirm, right there in the same thread.
Casual language works fine
You don't need to type a formal date. Something like "does Tuesday afternoon work" gets picked up the same way a more exact date would. It's built to handle how people actually talk, not a rigid format you have to match.
No app-switching required
Once a date or time is detected, turning it into an actual scheduled block takes one tap. You're not leaving the conversation to open a calendar, enter the details again, and come back.
Currently a mobile feature
This works on the Jobiteer mobile app today. It's not yet available on the web version, so if you're managing jobs primarily from a browser, scheduling still happens the regular way there for now.
Why this actually helps
A proposed time buried in the middle of a long chat thread is easy to lose track of. Turning it into an actual visible block means less risk of a missed appointment, and less time spent scrolling back through messages trying to remember what you agreed to.
The bigger idea
Jobiteer is built around the conversation being the center of how a job actually gets coordinated, not a separate set of tools bolted on around it. Scheduling is one more piece that lives where the rest of the job already lives, instead of somewhere else entirely.
