That gives you a real read on demand, not a guess, and it costs nothing.
Add it to your profile and let the board adapt
When you're ready to try, add the new specialty or service location to your contractor profile. Two things happen:
- Your job board adjusts. Smart Match shows you jobs in your listed specialties across all of your saved service areas, so the new trade or area shows up alongside your usual work.
- Homeowners can find you. Homeowners searching the contractor directory by specialty or location can now come across your profile for that work, too.
And you're never boxed in. You can always browse other categories on the board and unlock any open job you want.
Test it with a few unlocks
Because there's no subscription, testing a new direction doesn't require a new plan or an upgrade. Use your free monthly credits, or buy a small pack, and unlock a handful of jobs in the new trade or area. Then see what happens:
- Are homeowners responding?
- Are the jobs the right size and pay for your crew?
- Is the travel worth it?
If a homeowner never replies to you and doesn't hire you, the credits for that unlock come back automatically once the job closes. So a quiet test doesn't drain your balance.
Scale up, or walk it back
If the new area or trade works out, keep going and unlock more. If it doesn't, remove it from your profile and go back to your core work. There's nothing to cancel and no plan to downgrade, and purchased credits never expire, so anything left over just goes back to your regular jobs.
One practical note
Jobiteer doesn't verify licenses or insurance. Some trades and locations have their own licensing or permit requirements, so check what applies before you take on work in a new specialty or a new area.
