Some platforms build reviews around a list of preset tags, things like "Fast" or "Professional" that a customer clicks instead of writing anything. It sounds convenient, but it also means your reputation ends up shaped by whichever tags happened to be available, and a handful of clicks can distort what a stat like that actually reflects.

Reviews are stars and real writing, nothing more
There's no checklist of traits to pick from. A customer rates the job and writes what they actually want to say about it. What ends up on your profile is a genuine sentence about a real job, not an abstracted label.
Why a tag-based system got dropped
An earlier version of Jobiteer did have trait tags, but it was removed. A stat like "Known For: Reliable" built on just one or two clicks can end up misrepresenting a contractor, especially early on when there's not much review history yet. Plain star ratings and written feedback don't have that same distortion problem.
Your reputation isn't tied to a system's quirks
Because reviews are just stars and text, your rating reflects an accumulation of real feedback over time rather than however a particular tag happened to trend. That also means it's harder for a small number of coordinated clicks to meaningfully skew how you show up to homeowners browsing the directory.
What this means for you
Your reputation builds the same way it would if someone were describing you to a friend: through actual sentences about actual work. That's a more accurate, and more persuasive, way for new customers to get a sense of what working with you is actually like.
