The short version
- Angi's algorithm sends leads until your monthly budget is reached, and its agreement says the budget may be exceeded by a lead or two. On Jobiteer, you choose every job you pay for.
- Angi's agreement says a lead is frequently sent to several other pros. On Jobiteer, you see how many pros are already talking with the homeowner before you spend anything.
- Angi doesn't give credits when a customer doesn't call back. Jobiteer returns your credits if the homeowner never replies to you.
- No subscription required, no contract and no early termination fee on Jobiteer (the optional Jobi plan is month to month). Angi subscriptions renew automatically, and an early termination fee may apply.
- With the Jobi plan, every chat shows where the homeowner stands: their stage, their mood, what matters most to them and your best next move.
If you want to approve every lead and walk away whenever you like, Jobiteer gives you that control.

Choose your leads, one by one
Under Angi's Pro Agreement, you pick your service categories and locations and set a monthly budget, and Angi's matching algorithm sends leads until that budget is reached. The agreement notes the budget may be exceeded by a lead or two. Leads can also come as part of a subscription or a bundle, and Angi's own FAQ is direct about one point: yes, you pay for the lead even if you don't win the job.
On Jobiteer, nothing arrives on your bill that you didn't pick. You browse real job posts with the trade, the exact item, photos and often a budget, see the exact cost to unlock each one, and decide. Save a search for your trade and area to get an alert the moment a matching job is posted.
When a homeowner goes quiet
Angi's Lead Credit Guidelines list what can earn a credit (duplicates, wrong ZIP code, wrong job type, bad contact details) and what can't: a consumer not calling back, already hiring someone, changing their mind or just shopping. Credits are at Angi's discretion, must be requested within 30 days, come as store credit and expire after six months.
Jobiteer covers the most common frustration directly. If a homeowner never replies to you after you unlock their job, your credits come back automatically once the job closes. And credits you buy never expire.
No contract, no cancellation call
Angi's subscriptions are automatically renewing, fixed-term commitments; its agreement allows the subscription fee to rise by up to 10% at renewal, an early termination fee may apply, and cancelling means calling Customer Care. Lead-volume guidance given during sales is an estimate, not a promise.
Jobiteer needs no subscription and no contract. Free credits refresh every month, and you buy more only when you want them. The one optional plan, Jobi, the AI assistant, is month to month: cancel it anytime, with no fee and no phone call.
Everything after the first message
Angi gives pros a lead pipeline with quoting and invoicing. Jobiteer includes the rest of the job too, with no extra subscription:
- A price book and estimates and itemized invoices with tax
- Working hours, days off and a schedule that bookings respect
- "On my way" and a verified "I've arrived", with your home kept private
- Dashboards showing what you spent on leads and what each one earned
- Team accounts with job hand-offs
Reviews that go both ways
On Angi, homeowners rate pros. On Jobiteer, both sides rate each other after every hired job, and neither sees the other's review until both are in, so feedback stays honest. You can reply publicly to every review, and homeowners who hired you before can request you directly next time.
Your 24/7 front desk, available today
Jobi, Jobiteer's optional AI assistant, answers homeowners in your chats when you're on a job or off the clock, offers open times from your real availability (and confirms bookings once you're hired, if you like), answers from your price book when you allow it, follows up when a homeowner goes quiet, and can find and unlock new jobs that match your rules, starting in a practice mode that spends nothing. It always says it's an AI assistant for your business.
Know where every customer stands
Angi's AI Front Desk, in a small beta since July 2026, focuses on following up on leads and booking appointments. Angi's public pages don't describe a read on each customer. Jobi gives you one in every chat, today.
At the top of every chat, Jobi gives you its read on the homeowner:
- Stage: just looking, comparing options, ready to book, booked, or done. Booked and done come from the real booking, not a guess
- Mood, with the homeowner's own words that show it
- What matters most: price, speed, quality, trust, convenience or communication
- Your next move: one honest, specific suggestion for your next message
It refreshes a minute or so after the homeowner writes, in every chat, including the ones you're answering yourself. Jobi's own replies follow it too: calm and reassuring with someone stressed, leading with price for someone comparing quotes. Only you ever see it.
Getting started takes about 10 minutes
- Create your free account. Choose "I'm a contractor" when you sign up. No card needed.
- Add your trades and service areas. Plus your insurance, bonding and warranty badges, so homeowners see them up front.
- Save a search for the jobs you want. You'll get an alert the moment a matching job is posted near you.
- Keep Angi if you like. Nothing stops you from using both while you see where your best jobs come from. Your Jobiteer dashboard shows exactly what each lead earned.
Questions people ask
What does Jobi tell me about a customer?
With the Jobi plan, every chat shows Jobi's read on the homeowner: where they are in deciding (just looking, comparing, ready to book, booked or done), their mood with the words from the chat that show it, what matters most to them, and a suggested next move. Only you see it, and it never labels who someone is, only how the conversation reads.
Will Jobiteer ever charge me for a lead I didn't pick?
No. You only pay when you unlock a job. If you turn on Jobi's auto-unlock, it only unlocks jobs matching rules and daily limits you set, starting in practice mode that spends nothing.
Is there a contract or cancellation fee?
No. No subscription is required and there's no contract. The optional Jobi plan is month to month and cancels anytime.
What if the homeowner never responds?
If they never reply to you after you unlock their job, your credits come back automatically once the job closes.
Can I keep using Angi too?
Of course. Jobiteer's dashboard shows exactly what each lead earned, so you can compare where your best jobs come from.
