The short version
- HomeAdvisor's pro pages say "different sized jobs have different lead fees" but don't publish them. Jobiteer shows the exact cost on every job before you spend anything.
- HomeAdvisor matches leads to your preferences automatically. On Jobiteer, you choose each job, and see how many pros are already talking with the homeowner.
- A customer not calling back isn't eligible for a credit on HomeAdvisor. On Jobiteer, your credits come back if the homeowner never replies to you.
- No subscription required, no contract and no early termination fee on Jobiteer. The optional Jobi AI plan is month to month.
- With the Jobi plan, every chat shows where the homeowner stands: their stage, their mood, what matters most to them and your best next move.
If you want to know exactly what each lead costs and choose it yourself, Jobiteer is built that way.

HomeAdvisor today
HomeAdvisor is one of the brands of Angi Inc. Homeowners can still use homeadvisor.com, but the pro side is now run as Angi Pro: the current Pro Agreement is with "HomeAdvisor Inc. d/b/a Angi Pro," and the pro app is Angi for Pros, formerly Angi Leads. Requests from homeadvisor.com and angi.com feed the same lead system. You can also read our full Jobiteer vs Angi comparison for contractors.
Know what a lead costs before you buy it
HomeAdvisor's pro FAQ says you pay a fee for each lead you match to, and that different sized jobs have different lead fees, without publishing the amounts. Leads are matched automatically to your job types, area and budget, and the agreement says your monthly budget may be exceeded by a lead or two. You also pay for a lead even if you don't win the job.
On Jobiteer, the exact cost is printed on every job, and nothing is charged until you choose to unlock it. You also see the trade, the item, photos, often a budget, and how many pros are already talking with that homeowner.
Credits that work for you
Under the Angi Leads credit guidelines, a consumer not calling back, hiring someone else or "just shopping" isn't eligible for a credit; credits that are granted are store credit and expire after six months.
On Jobiteer, if a homeowner never replies to you after you unlock their job, your credits come back automatically once the job closes. Credits you buy never expire, and free credits refresh every month.
Run the job in the same app
- Estimates and itemized invoices with tax, from your own price book
- Working hours, days off and a schedule that bookings respect
- "On my way" and a verified "I've arrived"
- Dashboards for earnings, win rate and the return on every lead
- Team accounts, and reviews that go both ways
Answer every homeowner, around the clock
Jobi, Jobiteer's optional AI assistant, replies to homeowners when you're busy, offers open times from your real calendar (and confirms bookings once you're hired, if you like), answers from your price book when you allow it, follows up when a homeowner goes quiet, and can find and unlock new jobs that match your rules, starting in a practice mode that spends nothing.
Know where every customer stands
Angi Leads' public pages don't describe any AI that reads your customers, and Angi's AI Front Desk is still in a small beta. With Jobi, every chat comes with a read on the homeowner.
At the top of every chat, Jobi gives you its read on the homeowner:
- Stage: just looking, comparing options, ready to book, booked, or done. Booked and done come from the real booking, not a guess
- Mood, with the homeowner's own words that show it
- What matters most: price, speed, quality, trust, convenience or communication
- Your next move: one honest, specific suggestion for your next message
It refreshes a minute or so after the homeowner writes, in every chat, including the ones you're answering yourself. Jobi's own replies follow it too: calm and reassuring with someone stressed, leading with price for someone comparing quotes. Only you ever see it.
Getting started takes about 10 minutes
- Create your free account. Choose "I'm a contractor" when you sign up. No card needed.
- Add your trades and service areas. Plus your insurance, bonding and warranty badges, so homeowners see them up front.
- Save a search for the jobs you want. You'll get an alert the moment a matching job is posted near you.
- Keep HomeAdvisor if you like. Nothing stops you from using both while you see where your best jobs come from. Your Jobiteer dashboard shows exactly what each lead earned.
Questions people ask
What does Jobi tell me about a customer?
With the Jobi plan, every chat shows Jobi's read on the homeowner: where they are in deciding (just looking, comparing, ready to book, booked or done), their mood with the words from the chat that show it, what matters most to them, and a suggested next move. Only you see it, and it never labels who someone is, only how the conversation reads.
Is HomeAdvisor the same as Angi?
They're the same company. HomeAdvisor is a brand of Angi Inc., and its pro program now runs as Angi Pro under one agreement.
How much does a lead cost on Jobiteer?
It depends on the trade and the area, and the exact cost is shown on every job before you unlock it.
Is there a membership fee?
No. Joining Jobiteer is free, with no subscription required and no annual fee. The only plan is the optional Jobi AI assistant, month to month.
What if a homeowner never replies?
Your credits come back automatically once the job closes.
