The short version
- Jobber doesn't supply customers. It can sync leads you buy separately on Thumbtack or Angi. Jobiteer is where homeowners post the jobs.
- Jobber plans start at $29 a month billed yearly ($49 month to month) and go up to $499 a month. Jobiteer's tools come with a free account.
- Jobber charges $29 a month for each extra user. Jobiteer team accounts are included.
- Estimates, invoices, scheduling, a price book, dashboards and in-app chat with every customer are part of every Jobiteer account.
- With the Jobi plan, every chat shows where the homeowner stands: their stage, their mood, what matters most to them and your best next move.
If you want new customers and the tools to run them in one place, without a monthly bill, start with Jobiteer.

Software doesn't fill your calendar
Jobber is built to manage the work you already have: quotes, scheduling, invoicing and follow-ups. It doesn't run a marketplace where homeowners post jobs. To get new customers into Jobber, its integrations sync leads you buy elsewhere: direct leads from Thumbtack, with "pricing for leads set by Thumbtack," and leads from Angi.
That means two bills: one for the software, one for the leads. Jobiteer is one app. Homeowners post real jobs with the trade, the item, photos and often a budget. You choose which ones to unlock, see the exact cost first, and run the job in the same place you found it.
The tools, no monthly bill required
Jobber has four plans. Core starts at $29 a month billed yearly, $39 with a one-year commitment, or $49 month to month, for one user. Connect starts at $99 a month billed yearly, Grow at $149, and Plus at $399 for five users. Extra users are $29 a month each. Jobber's terms say fees are non-refundable, annual prepaid plans are billed up front, and the one-year commitment option keeps you paying through the year even if you cancel early.
On Jobiteer, the business tools come with your free account, for you and your whole team:
- Estimates and itemized invoices with tax, built from your price book
- Working hours, days off and a schedule that bookings respect
- In-app chat with every customer, with photos, on the web, iPhone and Android
- "On my way" and a verified "I've arrived" for every visit
- Dashboards for earnings, win rate, reply speed and the return on every lead
- Team accounts with job hand-offs
You pay only for the leads you choose to unlock, and free credits refresh every month.
Know what every lead earned
Because Jobiteer handles both the lead and the job, your dashboard can connect them: what you spent on leads, which ones you won, what got paid, and the real return on each. It's the number most contractors never get when leads come from one service and invoices from another.
An assistant that answers, books and finds work
Jobber's Receptionist answers calls and texts and books visits, as a $29-a-month add-on that includes 30 conversations ($0.79 for each one after that), or included in the Plus plan. Jobi, Jobiteer's optional AI assistant, answers homeowners in your chats when you're busy, offers open times from your real availability (and confirms bookings once you're hired, if you like), answers from your price book when you allow it, and follows up when a homeowner goes quiet. One monthly price, no per-conversation charges.
Jobi can also find the work: it can unlock new jobs that match your trades, areas and budget rules, with daily limits you set. It starts in practice mode, which shows you what it would pick without spending anything.
Know where every customer stands
Jobber's Receptionist tags each call or text it handles with an outcome, like "Request created" or "Job scheduled", plus a summary. Jobi goes further, in every chat, including the ones you answer yourself: it reads the customer.
At the top of every chat, Jobi gives you its read on the homeowner:
- Stage: just looking, comparing options, ready to book, booked, or done. Booked and done come from the real booking, not a guess
- Mood, with the homeowner's own words that show it
- What matters most: price, speed, quality, trust, convenience or communication
- Your next move: one honest, specific suggestion for your next message
It refreshes a minute or so after the homeowner writes, in every chat, including the ones you're answering yourself. Jobi's own replies follow it too: calm and reassuring with someone stressed, leading with price for someone comparing quotes. Only you ever see it.
Getting started takes about 10 minutes
- Create your free account. Choose "I'm a contractor" when you sign up. No card needed.
- Add your trades and service areas. Plus your insurance, bonding and warranty badges, so homeowners see them up front.
- Save a search for the jobs you want. You'll get an alert the moment a matching job is posted near you.
- Keep Jobber if you like. Nothing stops you from using both while you see where your best jobs come from. Your Jobiteer dashboard shows exactly what each lead earned.
Questions people ask
What does Jobi tell me about a customer?
With the Jobi plan, every chat shows Jobi's read on the homeowner: where they are in deciding (just looking, comparing, ready to book, booked or done), their mood with the words from the chat that show it, what matters most to them, and a suggested next move. Only you see it, and it never labels who someone is, only how the conversation reads.
Is Jobiteer free to use?
Yes. Joining is free, and the business tools are included. You pay only for the leads you unlock, and the optional Jobi AI assistant has its own monthly plan.
Do I need Thumbtack or Angi to get leads with Jobiteer?
No. Homeowners post jobs on Jobiteer directly, and you choose which ones to unlock.
Can my team use it?
Yes. Team accounts are included: invite employees to work under your company profile and hand jobs off between them.
Is there a contract?
No contract and no subscription required. Use it as much or as little as you like. The optional Jobi AI plan is month to month.
