The short version
- Both are free for homeowners.
- On Bark, each pro who buys your request receives your name, phone number and email, and Bark advises pros to call first. On Jobiteer, your number stays private and everyone talks in the app.
- Jobiteer shows what homeowners near you actually paid for the same kind of job.
- Estimates, booking, arrival updates and invoices happen in one place, built for home projects.
If you want quotes without a ringing phone, Jobiteer keeps you in control.

Your phone number stays yours
When a pro buys a lead on Bark, they receive your name, phone number and email address, and Bark's own advice to pros is to call first, then follow up. A request can get up to five responses, so that can mean several calls.
On Jobiteer, pros message you in a private chat inside the app. Your phone number and email are never shown to pros, so you can compare them and decide in peace. Posting a job never gives out your number.
Know the fair price first
When you post on Jobiteer, you see what homeowners near you paid for the same kind of job, and your budget is suggested from those numbers. It's an easy way to tell a fair quote from a high one.
The whole job in one place
- Estimates and itemized invoices with tax, right in the chat
- Book a visit from the pro's real openings, with reminders
- See "On my way" and a verified "Arrived" on the day
- Reviews only from people who hired each other, so they're real
- A record of every job, pro and invoice for your home
Fast answers, in a chat that feels familiar
When a pro is on a job or it's after hours, you don't have to wait to hear back. Pros who use Jobi, Jobiteer's AI assistant, have it answer for them: it's always labeled Jobi AI, it answers from the pro's own information, can suggest a time, and lets the pro know right away. If you'd rather wait for the pro, you can turn it off for your chat anytime.
- React with an emoji or swipe to reply, like the messaging apps you already use
- Share photos, get estimates and invoices, and book, all in the same thread
- When you hire, you can choose to share your phone and email with that pro, so estimates and invoices fill in for you
- Block anyone at any time, and report anything that doesn't feel right
How to get started
- Post your job for free. Pick the trade and what needs doing, add a few photos. It takes a couple of minutes.
- See what it should cost. Jobiteer shows what homeowners near you paid for the same kind of job.
- Chat with the pros who want it. Compare their reviews and credentials, then book a time that works, all in the app.
