Every pro on an even footing
On Yelp, businesses can pay for Sponsored Results that appear above and below search results and on other businesses' pages, and advertising is central to Yelp's business, as its annual report describes.
Jobiteer has no paid placements. The pro directory is ordered by things like ratings and reviews, not by who paid, and your job post is open to every pro in that trade and area.
Know what it should cost
Reviews tell you who did good work, but not what you should pay. When you post on Jobiteer, you see what homeowners near you actually paid for the same kind of job, and your budget is suggested from those numbers, so you can spot a fair quote.
Quotes without the follow-up calls
Yelp's Request a Quote can send your project to several businesses at once, and Yelp tells businesses the request includes contact info so they can follow up. On Jobiteer, pros reach out in a private chat inside the app, and your phone number and email are never shown to them. You compare pros on your own time, and they can call only if you share your number.
The whole job, start to finish
- Estimates and itemized invoices with tax, right in the chat
- Book a time from the pro's real openings, with reminders
- See "On my way" and a verified "Arrived" on the day
- Reviews only from people who hired each other, so they're real
- A record of every job, pro and invoice for your home
Fast answers, in a chat that feels familiar
When a pro is on a job or it's after hours, you don't have to wait to hear back. Pros who use Jobi, Jobiteer's AI assistant, have it answer for them: it's always labeled Jobi AI, it answers from the pro's own information, can suggest a time, and lets the pro know right away. If you'd rather wait for the pro, you can turn it off for your chat anytime.
- React with an emoji or swipe to reply, like the messaging apps you already use
- Share photos, get estimates and invoices, and book, all in the same thread
- When you hire, you can choose to share your phone and email with that pro, so estimates and invoices fill in for you
- Block anyone at any time, and report anything that doesn't feel right
How to get started
